| Jacksonville, FL (MySportsbook) - Maurice Jones-Drew ran for a 30-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter to lift the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars to a hard-fought 38-31 win over the Oakland Raiders at EverBank Field. David Garrard threw for 159 yards on 11-of-22 completions with three touchdowns and one interception, while Jones-Drew rushed for 101 yards on 23 carries for Jacksonville (8-5), which has won five of its last six. | tmas season upon us, Chuck Berry's infectious "Run, Rudolph, Run" has no doubt begun filling up the radio airwaves. It's also an appropriate theme for this Sunday's December clash between the playoff-hopeful Oakland Raiders and the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Field. While winter weather doesn't make too many appearances in sunny Jacksonville, a run-heavy game should. The Jaguars rank second in the league in rushing, behind only the Kansas City Chiefs, while the Raiders occupy the third overal |

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Looking for a spark after an inconsistent start, Jacksonville Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio challenged Maurice Jones-Drew to run for 150 yards in a game. Jones-Drew responded with four consecutive 100-yard performances, an impressive streak that still failed to satisfy Del Rio's request. Jones-Drew pressed on, finally hitting the mark with a career-high 186 yards last week at Tennessee. His reward? A game ball, a pat on the back and another challenge. ``We want him to be the No. 1 ru |

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Despite winning four of their last five games and taking over first place in the AFC South, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been granted a 24-hour extension to the NFL's blackout deadline. The Jaguars have about 1,700 tickets to sell for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders to get the game televised locally and in secondary markets. The small-market franchise has sold about 1,000 tickets every day this week, making it likely the Jaguars will get close enough to buy the remaining |

| lis Colts' free-fall and Peyton Manning's overnight transformation into Jack Trudeau (he threw four more interceptions in Sunday's 38-35 overtime loss to Dallas, giving him an unheard of 11 over the last three games), how about a little love for the Jacksonville Jaguars? Jack Del Rio's charges have quietly won four of their last five to grab a one-game edge on the sputtering Colts for first place and have been just punishing the opposition with a domineering ground attack that piled up 258 yards in a 17-6 stomping |

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Kerry Collins is starting against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the sixth straight game the Tennessee Titans have started a different quarterback than the week before. Collins last started Nov. 14 against Miami but strained his left calf just before halftime. The Titans gave rookie Rusty Smith his first career start last week in a 20-0 loss to Houston, but Smith will be the third quarterback with Chris Simms backing up Collins. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Jacksonville Jaguars hit the road trying to hold on to their share of the AFC South lead. For the Tennessee Titans, it's time to make a stand at home. The Jaguars (6-5), tied with Indianapolis atop the South, play the first of their final three divisional games - all away from home - Sunday at Tennessee. The Titans (5-6) are a game back and tied with Houston despite a four-game skid. Best of all, the Titans open a three-game home stretch with the Colts and Texans following Jacksonvil |

| (MySportsbook) - It's been a while since he's been an elite player in either his conference or his league. But don't be surprised if Tennessee Titans quarterback Kerry Collins gets a hero's welcome should he take the field on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The former Penn State star, who led Carolina to an NFC title game in the mid-1990's and the New York Giants to a Super Bowl a half-decade later, likely looks like a cross between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning to a rapidly-deflating Titans fan base the |
