McGill was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Atlanta Falcons, but was waived by the team Sunday. McGill was a four-year starter at Louisiana Tech. The only punter picked in the 2008 draft, he came out of Georgia Tech having won the Ray Guy Award as the nation's best collegiate punter.
