On Sunday, McNabb and the Eagles will try to rebound from their latest indignity by holding down both their pre-game meal and the Jacksonville Jaguars at Lincoln Financial Field. Philadelphia, which took all of two weeks to squander a game-and-a-half lead in the NFC East, enters the day a half-game back of the division-leading Giants (4-2), and just a half-game ahead of third-place Dallas (3-3). | ed their status as a 2006 must-read. Only two weeks back, it seemed that the cute little "we're not as bad as everyone thought we'd be" team had been returned to the four-win insignificance of a year ago with a humbling 41-0 loss at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars. From there, it seemed the Jets would win some, lose some more, and generally work their way toward the 4-5-6 win season that most had forecasted in the preseason. But it's not quite gone according to script. Instead of plunging back to sub-mediocri |

Leftwich's sore left ankle contributed to his 14-of-28 passing completions for 125 yards in the Jags' 27-7 loss at Houston. The injury apparently occurred during practice on October 19, although Del Rio said there was nothing noticeable after the session. David Garrard worked with the first-team offense on Thursday and would be the starter Sun |

| uries and turmoil sure sounds familiar around here. One year ago, the Philadelphia Eagles went from the Super Bowl to last place because Donovan McNabb and several other starters were hurt and Terrell Owens destroyed team chemistry. Now it's the Jacksonville Jaguars' turn to go from contenders to pretenders. A team that was 12-4 last season and opened this year with victories over Dallas and Pittsburgh is on the verge of a total breakdown. The starting quarterback is battling an injury; the star running back |

| (MySportsbook) - It's no secret that the Jacksonville Jaguars have struggled on the road this season, but it's hard not to be shocked by the result of their game this past Sunday in Houston. The Jaguars came out of their bye week maybe a bit too relaxed, and were handed a shocking 27-7 loss by the Texans. Jacksonville is an even 3-3 on the season with three wins at home and three losses on the road. David Carr was the star of the game for Houston, completing 25-of-34 passes for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns |

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -The Jacksonville Jaguars want everyone to believe they're one big, happy, healthy family. The truth is they're as dysfunctional as a family on reality television, causing them to look like Super Bowl contenders one week and postseason pretenders the next. They beat Dallas and Pittsburgh to open the season, then played well at Indianapolis. But they have lost three of four since, including a 27-7 shocker last week at lowly Houston - which has one of the worst defenses in the league. The |
