The Indianapolis Colts' quest for an unbeaten season ended last month. A first Super Bowl trip for Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison and Tony Dungy? Even with a 10-3 record, tied for second best in the AFC? Forget it. Not after Sunday's 44-17 loss in Jacksonville in which the Colts gave up 375 yards rushing - 8.9 yards per carry. Yes, someone must have tackled Maurice Drew or Fred Taylor at some point - it just wasn't obvious to anyone who watched live or saw the lowlights afterward. As it turns out, all t |

Drew Bennett hauled in six passes for 113 yards and Travis Henry rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the victory for the Titans, who were coming off a 20-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts last week after Rob Bironas drilled a 60-yard field goal with just seven seconds left. Ron Dayne had 87 yards on the ground and two touchdowns for the Texans (4-9), who have lost three of their last four games. Houston quarterback David Carr went 17 |

The last loss in December was a 24-19 defeat at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts on December 15, 1996. No stats or homefield advantage mattered Sunday, as Baltimore (10-3) again demonstrated why its one of the AFC favorites to reach Super Bowl XLI. "That's as good of a road win as we've ever had," said Ravens head coach Brian Bi |

On the other hand, make no mistake: It is much more important to Tony Dungy that the Indianapolis Colts win the Super Bowl than that Jerry Reese becomes general manager of the Giants. --- In six seasons with Tampa Bay and in 4 3/4 with Indianapolis, Dungy has won 112 games and lost 60, a winning percentage of .651. The running back has been bothered by the flu as well as a hip flexor strain that he originally injured in practice last week, then re-injured Sunday in a 20-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. ``He's still struggling with the hip flexor,'' Titans coach Jeff Fisher said, though he added that White was better. With no practice time, White might not be active Sunday, opening the door for former starter Chris Brown to backup Travis Henry |

| New York, NY (MySportsbook) - Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai and Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Clint Ingram have been selected as the NFL's top rookies for the month of November. Addai, the 30th overall selection in last April's draft, led all rookies with 342 yards on the ground and six touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes for 90 yards as the Colts went 3-1 in the month of November. Four of Addai's six touchdowns came on November 26 in a Sunday night victory over the Philadelphia Eagles where |

The Giants came back to tie the game, but Martin Gramatica, signed that week when Parcells decided to cut Mike Vanderjagt, won it with a field goal with 1 second left. ``Bad read, bad throw, bad everything,'' said Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian, who saw the tape. ``You look at that and think, 'It's going back the other way.' NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Vince Young scored on the Indianapolis Colts with his arm. He tore them apart with his legs. The Tennessee rookie scrambled nine times for 78 yards. Seven of those picked up first downs, and six came on third down. He looked for an open receiver, then didn't hesitate to take off if everyone was covered. And yes, he's proving just as elusive in the NFL as he was at the University of Texas. ``This is as good a tackling defense as you'll find in space, and he made people miss,'' Titan |
