| scheduled to undergo surgery on his right wrist Saturday. The 28-year-old Jones ruptured the extensor tendon in his right wrist in practice Wednesday, and is expected to miss three months. The Miami-Florida product, who signed with the Heat as a free agent in the offseason, played in 58 games for Portland last year when he averaged 8.0 points and 2.8 rebounds. The five-year veteran has also suited up for the Phoenix Suns after being drafted with the 49th selection of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers. |
