Saturday's game is at Reliant Stadium. The last time Texas visited the Houston Texans' home they embarrassed Colorado 70-3 in a Big 12 Championship game that propelled them into the Rose Bowl. Adding a bit of intrigue to the matchup is that former Texas quarterback Major Applewhite is in his first season as offensive coordinator at |

HOUSTON (AP) -Peyton Manning's pointing, waving and gesturing at the line were so confusing to Houston Texans cornerback Dunta Robinson the first time he faced the Indianapolis Colts quarterback as a rookie that he thought about calling a timeout. Three years later, Robinson is used to the theatrics, though the Texans are still looking for their first win over the Colts. Houston is 0-8 against Indianapolis, the only AFC South foe the Texans haven't beaten. If they want any chance to do it this week, Ro |

Despite struggling to run in their victory over the New York Giants, the Colts remain optimistic about improving their ground attack heading into Sunday's AFC South matchup against the Houston Texans at the RCA Dome. | It's the recently acquired Donte' Stallworth, who is thrilled to be in Philadelphia after wearing out his welcome in New Orleans. ``It was good to see Donovan and Donte' work together,'' coach Andy Reid said Monday, a day after the Eagles beat the Houston Texans 24-10. ``Donte' did do a nice job for his first opportunity.'' Playing in his first game with the Eagles, Stallworth had six catches for 141 yards and one touchdown against the Texans. His performance was even more impressive considering he had le |

Dayne, signed Monday by the Texans, had been released by Denver after missing three of four preseason games with turf toe. The 1999 Heisman Trophy winner was listed third on the Texans depth chart this week. Rookie running back Chris Taylor was signed from the practice squad and linebacker Roy Manning was released to make room for Taylor on the roster.Copyright © 2005 The Associate |

| NFL 2006: Can Kubiak bring wins to Houston? |

HOUSTON (AP) -Gary Kubiak had just one losing season in his nine-year playing career, and as an assistant coach in Denver he hasn't seen one since 1999. The Houston Texans have never had a winning record, much less reached the .500 mark. So what does the perennial winner expect from a team that plummeted to 2-14 last season? ``I just want to see us get better every time out,'' he said. ``I want to see us keep preparing the way we're preparing. I know there'll be some good times and there'll be some t |

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina's destruction a year ago, along came Bush, Southern California's do-it-all-quickly tailback who seemed to score a touchdown for the Trojans every time he got his hands on the football. When the Houston Texans surprisingly decided to draft defensive end Mario Williams with the No. 1 overall pick, Bush fell to the Saints - like an angel from above. ``The fans were excited when he was available,'' said Saints first-year coach Sean Payton. ``He brought a l |
