On every offensive play, he's got his hands on the ball, and somebody is coming after him. ``It's extremely hard watching him,'' said Sheryl Carr, whose son David has been sacked a whopping 232 times so far in 4 1/2 seasons with the Houston Texans. ``I'm thinking, 'Do you not understand? That's my child out there!'' Sheryl Carr said. ``I've had to really pray, because I've really stressed over that, watching him out there.'' HOUSTON (AP) -A misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest against Houston Texans offensive lineman Fred Weary was dismissed Tuesday. Weary was shot with a Taser and arrested after a traffic stop last week. The case was dismissed because a judge found insufficient evidence to support the charge. The district attorney's office will continue to investigate the case and there is a possibility other charges could be filed. ``Mr. Weary is very pleased with the dismissal,'' said his lawyer, Charley Davidson. ` |

The New Orleans Saints will start three rookies Sunday, and a fourth would be starting if he wasn't hurt. The Houston Texans will have five rookie starters. Unusual in most seasons. Not this year, when what appears to be the best draft class in years is having an impact at both the top and bottom of the league - with players from both the top and bottom of the draft. The Saints (6-3) and Texans (3-6) are two examples. But so are others: The Bears and Giants at the top of the NFC are both getting major |

| (MySportsbook) - When you're the Houston Texans, and you have 21 wins in five NFL seasons, a two-game winning streak represents progress. And head coach Gary Kubiak, who will try to extend his team's run to two games against the Buffalo Bills at Reliant Stadium on Sunday, surely won't shrug his shoulders at the prospect of even that relatively small development this week. The Texans went into Jacksonville and shocked the Jaguars by a 13-10 count last Sunday, completing a home-and-home sweep of a 2005 playo |

Also coming off a troubling defeat is Jacksonville, which dropped to 5-4 last Sunday after the lowly Houston Texans completed a home-and-home sweep of the Jaguars in the form of a 13-10 win at Alltel. Making his third start in place of the injured Byron Leftwich (ankle), Jags quarterback David Garrard tossed a career-high four interceptions, including two that bo |

Instead, Jacksonville is tied for the sixth and final playoff spot in the AFC, and has an extremely tough road ahead to make the postseason. All because they couldn't beat the Houston Texans.
