| Pittsburgh, PA (MySportsbook) - Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Tom Gorzelanny will miss the rest of the season because of a ligament sprain in his left middle finger. Gorzelanny was removed in the third inning of his start on Wednesday against the Houston Astros after feeling a pop in the digit. An examination on Friday revealed no tear and the left-hander will be able to resume throwing in a couple of weeks. He started 21 games for Pittsburgh this season, posting a 6-9 record and 6.66 earned run average. |
