The veteran left-hander compiled 14 wins and lost a career-high 14 games with a 4.54 earned run average in 33 starts last year for the Yankees, who, at 89-73, finished third in the AL East and missed the playoffs for the first time since 1993. Pettitte, 36, has a career record of 215-127 with a 3.89 ERA over 11 seasons with the Yankees and three with the Houston Astros. |

| Houston, TX (MySportsbook) - The Houston Astros have apparently come to terms on a one-year deal with right-handed reliever LaTroy Hawkins. The Houston Chronicle is reporting that the deal will likely be announced sometime on Friday and will pay Hawkins close to the $3.75 million he earned a year ago. Hawkins appeared in 24 games for the Astros last season after being acquired from the New York Yankees in late July.
