``At the end, we just ran out of time,'' NFL executive vice president Eric Grubman said Monday.

Four hundred people were forced to give up their seats for the Green Bay Packers' 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, and instead had to watch the game on monitors or use standing-room platforms in corners of Cowboys Stadium.

Another 850 fans were moved from their seats in the temporary sections to othe

Arlington, TX (MySportsbook) - A half-dozen former FCS players are reveling in their Super Bowl XLV triumph as members of the World Champion Green Bay Packers. Starting free safety Nick Collins, in his sixth season out of Bethune-Cookman, made one of the biggest plays of the Packers' 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night when he intercepted Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger at the Pittsburgh 37 and returned the pick for a touchdown and 14-0 lead. He had four tackles in the win. Starting wi

Steelers' fans subdued with Super Bowl loss Headlines 02/07/2011

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Patrons at Peters' Pub and other bars near the University of Pittsburgh campus mostly walked out quietly after the Super Bowl game, although some could be heard cursing the Steelers fate that they lost Sunday to the Green Bay Packers.

In the campus' Oakland neighborhood at least, the crowds appeared well behaved and there were no confrontations with the police as fans and students walked back to their dormitories and apartments.

TON, Texas (AP) - James Harrison sat on a stool and stared blankly into the Steelers' quiet locker room.

Pittsburgh's playmaking linebacker knew he wasn't good enough in the Super Bowl. He even went on Twitter after the Steelers' 31-25 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night and typed out one simple word for every fan to see:

``Sorry.''

That pretty much summed things up for the Steelers defense, which isn't used to having to explain why it couldn't get the job done.

Packers win sends NFL into uncertain offseason NFL Football 02/07/2011

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The Pack is back. NFL football? Well, nobody's quite sure when that's going to return.

Led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers returned to the top of the football world Sunday with a 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl.

It was yet another thrilling capper to the NFL's season, but this time, when they turned out the lights on the championship game, there was no guarantee they'd be back next fall.

Rodgers finally gets his due, with an assist NFL Football 02/07/2011
Arlington, TX (MySportsbook) - The Vince Lombardi Trophy is headed back to the home of its original holders, and the Green Bay Packers seized the NFL's most coveted piece of silver by putting forth a consummate team effort that would have made the prize's namesake most proud. The history books will show Aaron Rodgers as the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLV, but the exceptional young quarterback also drew from an abundance of riches at his disposal in etching his name among the greats of the past -- thos
McCarthy's motivational surprise: Ring fitting Headlines 02/07/2011

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy isn't exactly known for his public displays of bluster, and didn't provide anything even close to bulletin board material for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the buildup to the Super Bowl.

Behind closed doors, though, McCarthy pulled something pretty brazen the night before the game: He had his players fitted for rings.

Then they went out and beat the Steelers 31-25 on Sunday.

McCarthy's motivational ploy came as a shock to Packers players, and ce
