Jupiter, FL (MySportsbook) - Florida Marlins righthanded pitcher A.J. Burnett lost his arbitration case on Wednesday and will make $2.5 million this season. The 26-year-old was seeking $3.075 million. In 29 starts last season, Burnett was 12-9 with a 3.30 ERA. He finished tied for third in the majors with seven complete games while his five shutouts were a major-league best.
