The 37-year-old backstop hit .287 with 12 RBI in 38 games for the Twins this season, his fourth as Joe Mauer's backup. In 11 seasons in the majors -- seven with the Florida Marlins, four with the Twins -- Redmond is a .292 hitter with 13 homers and 231 RBI.
