| Detroit, MI (MySportsbook) - Joey Harrington exorcised his turkey-day demons, throwing for three touchdown passes and 213 yards to lead the Miami Dolphins to their fourth straight win, a 27-10 Thanksgiving Day triumph over the Detroit Lions. This was Harrington's first game in Detroit in a Miami uniform, as the former No. 3 overall draft pick by the Lions completed 19-of-29 passes with just one interception against the team that he mostly floundered for in his four-year stint as a Lion. | (MySportsbook) - The streaking Miami Dolphins will give thanks for still being a part of the playoff picture on Thursday afternoon, when Nick Saban's streaking team visits the Detroit Lions in the first of three Thanksgiving Day matchups in the NFL. The Dolphins looked to be dead and buried when they began the year 1-6, but consecutive wins over the Bears (31-13), Chiefs (13-10), and Vikings (24-20) have placed Miami on the fringe of the AFC Wild Card hunt in a season that began with great promise for the |

In fact, in spite of what various NFL power polls may have said, the Cardinals were the league's worst team as they headed into their Week 11 battle with the Detroit Lions riding an eight-game losing streak. Well, Sunday's 17-10 win over the Lions didn't do much to reverse the course of another dismal season in the desert, but it indeed was a win.
