INKSTER, Mich. (AP) -Detroit Lions safety Kenoy Kennedy has pleaded guilty to drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop in suburban Detroit. Kennedy, 29, entered the plea Thursday in District Court and told Judge Sylvia A. James that it was his first drunken-driving charge. He faces up to 93 days in jail when sentenced in January, after Detroit's season ends. Kennedy declined to comment as he left court. Kennedy was pulled over for speeding Oct. 6. As usual in December, the Detroit Lions (2-10) have only pride at stake. ``It seems like that's what we've been playing for toward the end of every season the last five years,'' Lions offensive tackle Jeff Backus said. | Detroit, MI (MySportsbook) - The Detroit Lions announced Wednesday that defensive tackle Shaun Rogers was placed on injured reserve, ending his season after only six games. Rogers had been suspended four games in October for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. The banned substance came from an appetite suppressant Rogers was taking to help monitor his weight, which was listed at 340 pounds. Rogers underwent knee surgery during his absence and hasn't been healthy enough for action since. "When he c |

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -Mike Furrey looks forward to the day when his past as a defensive back is not brought up every time his name is mentioned. If the Detroit Lions wide receiver can keep up his pace for the final four games of the season, he might get his wish. Furrey has 65 receptions for 773 yards, ranking among NFC leaders in both categories, and four touchdowns. ``I can't wait for them to quit saying `safety,''' he said Wednesday. ``I'm a receiver. Full-time.'' Last season, Furrey wasn't.< |

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -The Detroit Lions will play their final four games without Shaun Rogers, perhaps their best player. The defensive tackle was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season, after he played just six games this year. Rogers was suspended for four games by the NFL in October for taking a banned substance to help control his weight. He had knee surgery while he was away from the team, and he did not play when he was eligible because coach Rod Marinelli said he wasn't health |

| (MySportsbook) - If you're reading this, chances are you have a relative or close friend who plays for the Detroit Lions. Otherwise, your interest in this article makes very little sense. Reading about the Lions is a lot like watching Scooby-Doo: slightly different theme each episode but with the same predictable ending. There seemed to be a different tale unfolding Sunday at New England, where the two-win Lions were orchestrating a shocking upset for the first 52 minutes of the game. However, in the fina |

The Seahawks, at 8-4, lead the division by three games over the Rams and 49ers. Seattle has already recorded a win over Arizona this season, a 21-10 home victory in Week 2. The Seahawks have won their last three games against the Cardinals. Arizona, having defeated the Detroit Lions in its last home game, is seeking back-to-back wins at home for the first time since 2004. |

| One way or another, the Raiders will find a way to lose. This week, Oakland led the Houston Texans, 14-7, heading into halftime and wound up with a 23-14 defeat on its home field. The Raiders (2-10) have dropped five straight, are now tied with the Detroit Lions for the worst record in the NFL, and can almost smell the No. 1 pick in next year's NFL Draft. It shouldn't come as a surprise that the matchup between the Raiders and the Texans was an ugly affair. The Silver & Black outgained Houston by a 302- |
