| and there seems to be no end in sight. Over the course of just a few seasons, the once-great franchise has become a model of how not to build a winner in the modern NFL. Oakland is 2-11 this year and is tied for the worst record in the NFL with the Detroit Lions. In fairness to the Raiders, they are probably a better team than the Lions, who play in the NFC North, a much easier division than Oakland's AFC West. Still, it is probably a small consolation to a fan base as rabid as the Raiders' that they are a |

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) -Ford Field was so quiet Sunday that Roy Williams claimed he could hear fans ordering hot dogs at the concession stands. The Detroit Lions players don't blame their fans for being apathetic. Some of them are wondering what even brings them to the stadium to watch one of the worst teams in recent memory. After losing 30-20 to Minnesota, the Lions are 2-11. The franchise has lost at least 10 games in six straight seasons. ``The fans have a right to be upset with us,'' said tight |
