ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) -The Oakland Raiders' home game against the Denver Broncos will be blacked out locally because the team did not sell out the game in time. Games need to be sold out 72 hours before kickoff to avoid a blackout in a 75-mile radius. The Raiders got a one-day extension to sell out the opener against San Diego but were unable to avoid the blackout against the Broncos. The Raiders have had two games blacked out each season since taking over ticket sales from Alameda County before the 200 |

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -Brandon Marshall insists he's comfortable with the Denver Broncos playbook and that his surgically repaired hip is no longer an issue. However, the mercurial receiver doesn't know why he is not playing more. Marshall spent most of the second quarter on the bench when the offense had the ball against Cleveland last weekend. He finished with three catches for 34 yards. He said Wednesday that he's good enough to be out there. Marshall also said he's learned from trying to fight th |

BRONCOS: They say one player doesn't make a difference in the NFL. Denver Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil proved that to be a farse when his relentless pursuit of Cleveland quarterback Brady Quinn led to four sacks, a forced fumble and a pass breakup in his team's 27-6 victory over the Browns on Sunday. He has thrown for just 366 yards over his first two games with a touchdown pass and two interceptions, while completing 18-of-31 attempts for 161 yards with a late pick in Sunday's 27-6 loss to the Denver Broncos. But Quinn has only made five NFL starts after missing valuable learning time last season due to a fractured finger. No, Cleveland's problems run deeper than their quarterback. ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -Inheriting a Denver Broncos defense in complete disarray, Josh McDaniels decided to junk it soon after taking over as head coach. No patches, salvage jobs or quick fixes, just throw the scheme out and start over. ``We just said, 'All right, we're going in that direction regardless,''' McDaniels explained Monday. Now, the Broncos defense is back on the road to respectability. The unit is among the league leaders in points allowed (6.5) and yards per game (253.5). ``We've done |

They dropped to 0-2 on Sunday with a 27-6 loss to the Denver Broncos, who put the Browns away much the same way the Minnesota Vikings did one week earlier in the opener. Trailing 13-6 entering the fourth quarter, Cleveland couldn't come up with a big offensive play or defensive stop and dropped its eighth consecutive |

| (MySportsbook) - Fans of the Denver Broncos will certainly be cheering for their own team on Sunday, when the Cleveland Browns pay a visit to the Mile High City for Denver's home opener. That said, you can bet some members of the Broncos will be on a short leash with the home faithful. Broncos fans have seen their loyalties tested at almost every turn since the 2008 season careened to a halt with three straight losses that put the team at 8-8 and out of the playoff money.
