DENVER (AP) -The Denver Broncos placed safety Sam Brandon on injured reserve Tuesday. Brandon tore his right anterior cruciate ligament Sunday at Pittsburgh while tackling running back Najeh Davenport. Brandon, who covered tight ends as the ``big nickel'' back, finished the season with 15 tackles, a pass breakup and a fumble recovery. He also had three special teams tackles.
