Stars' Richards out 6-to-8 weeks with broken wrist NHL Hockey 02/17/2009
Frisco, TX (MySportsbook) - Dallas Stars center Brad Richards broke his right wrist in Monday's 3-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets and will miss the next 6-to-8 weeks. He left the game in the second period after being drilled into the boards by Jakub Voracek. Team doctors determined that Richards will not need surgery, and he will be re-evaluated in a month. On the season, his eighth in the NHL, Richards has 16 goals and 32 assists in 55 games.
