Stars defenseman Norstrom retires NHL Hockey 06/10/2008
Frisco, TX (MySportsbook) - Dallas Stars defenseman Mattias Norstrom announced his retirement from the National Hockey League on Tuesday, putting an end to a 14-year career. The 36-year-old Swede played in 903 career games with the New York Rangers (1993-96), Los Angeles Kings (1995-07) and Stars, wh

Frisco, TX (MySportsbook) - The Dallas Stars announced Monday the signing of center Toby Petersen to a two-year contract worth $1.1 million. The 29-year-old Petersen notched three assists in eight games with the Stars last season. He also appeared in 16 playoff games, going pointless with a minus-four rating.
