Cowboys RB Barber injures quadriceps NFL Football 09/22/2009
Irving, TX (MySportsbook) - Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber injured his left quadriceps on the team's final offensive drive against the Giants on Sunday. Barber was scheduled for an MRI on Monday, but the team released nothing further about the injury. The Minnesota product ran for 124 yards and a score on 18 carries in the loss. He has 203 rushing yards and two touchdowns in two games this season.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -The New York Giants are a little miffed at Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Flozell Adams.

Adams stuck out his leg and tripped Pro Bowl defensive end Justin Tuck in the first half of Sunday night's game, causing Tuck to suffer an injury to his left shoulder. It knocked him out of the nationally televised game.

Adams was penalized for tripping on the play, but that didn't stop Tuck from call the move ``bush.''

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Pro Bowl defensive end Justin Tuck and starting receiver Domenik Hixon have undergone tests for injuries sustained against the Dallas Cowboys.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin had not received the results before his conference call on Monday and was unable to say whether the two would play Sunday against the Buccaneers in Tampa, Fla.

Tuck hurt his shoulder when tripped by Cowboys tackle Flozell Adams. He watched the second half with his arm in a sling. Hixon sprained a knee.

Arlington, TX (MySportsbook) - New York Giants wide receiver Domenik Hixon injured his knee in Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. The wideout made a 13-yard catch during the game's first half but limped to the sideline favoring his knee. He will not return to the game. An a crowd of 105,121 was announced for Sunday night's game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys, breaking the previous mark of 103,467 for Arizona-St. Louis in Mexico City in 2005.
