| Cincinnati, OH (MySportsbook) - Cincinnati Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto will miss his next scheduled start with a strained right elbow. The rookie right-hander departed from Sunday's 4-3 loss against the Colorado Rockies after three innings. Cueto was examined by team physician Dr. Timothy Kremchek on Monday and was diagnosed with a posterior strain of the elbow, possibly caused by a hyperextension. He will be re-examined Friday. Cueto is 8-12 with a 4.65 earned run average in 27 games this season. |
