GS MILLS, Md. (AP) -Steve McNair is expected to start this Sunday for the Baltimore Ravens, although his injured right hand might affect his practice time this week.

McNair played only two series in the Ravens' playoff-clinching 27-17 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. He left shortly after Cleveland linebacker Andra Davis accidentally stepped on his throwing hand, opening up a cut that made it difficult for the quarterback to take snaps from center.

BALTIMORE (AP) -Ravens quarterback Steve McNair left Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns after his right hand was stepped on following an incomplete pass.

The injury occurred when Cleveland's Andra Davis stepped on the quarterback's hand after McNair was thrown to the ground while throwing on third down. McNair was taken to the locker room for X-rays, which were negative.
