| Berea, OH (MySportsbook) - Cleveland Browns rookie running back James Davis will miss the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury. Davis, a sixth-round draft pick out of Clemson, was moved to injured reserve. The Browns used that open roster spot to sign running back Chris Jennings to the active roster from the practice squad. Jennings was signed by the Browns on August 18 and he rushed for 63 yards on 18 carries and added seven receptions for 69 yards in three preseason games. |

CLEVELAND (AP) -The Cleveland Browns have changed quarterbacks - again. The Cincinnati Bengals have changed directions. On Sunday, the NFL's distant Ohio cousins will get together for the first time in 2009. In recent years, their twice-per-season meetings since 1970 have produced wild shootouts and some forgettable please-burn-the-game-film clunkers. They've also taken turns wrecking each other's playoff hopes. Two years ago, Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco bravely hopped the wall into Cleveland's |

| Berea, OH (MySportsbook) - Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis may miss another game, as he is listed as doubtful for Sunday's contest against Cincinnati because of a hamstring injury. Lewis did not play last week in Cleveland's loss to Baltimore and was out of practice all this week. Lewis had just 25 rushing attempts in the team's first two games -- both losses -- and has 95 yards and no touchdowns. In addition, kicker Phil Dawson and guard Floyd Womack may miss another week. The current Buckeyes (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) also had a 30-0 win over Illinois, manhandling the Illini last Saturday. That came a week after routing Toledo 38-0 at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Holding the opposition pointless is always the point, but it's not easy to keep doing it. ``It's definitely a goal for any defense,'' lineman Doug Worthington said. ``Any defense in the country, they'd be lying if they said they didn't |

BEREA, Ohio (AP) -Now that the Detroit Lions have finally won, the Cleveland Browns are being called the NFL's worst team, the lowest of the low. Their coach is under attack from all sides. Their fans are revolting. Their starting quarterback has been benched. The Browns are down - and being kicked. Unnecessary roughness? ``Not really,'' Pro Bowl nose tackle Shaun Rogers said Thursday. ``We're kind of bad right now.'' Kind of? Well, since no one is allowing them to vote for the people who work for their team, fans of the Cleveland Browns can't really do anything but blame. And though the reviews were awful, there's no way the Transformers movie was less entertaining that what they've witnessed over the past decade or so. | Berea, OH (MySportsbook) - Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini announced Wednesday that Derek Anderson will quarterback the club on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mangini indicated Monday that a change at the position could be forthcoming in the wake of an ugly 34-3 loss to the Ravens this past weekend as Brady Quinn was benched in favor of Anderson to start the second half. Quinn beat out Anderson in an open competition for the job during training camp and the preseason, although, the first-yea |

| Berea, OH (MySportsbook) - Cleveland Browns coach Romeo Crennel said on Wednesday that he will stick with Derek Anderson as the team's starting quarterback. Anderson, who has performed poorly thus far in leading the Browns to an 0-3 record, will be under center when Cleveland plays in Cincinnati on Sunday. "Anderson is the starter and (Brady) Quinn will be ready," Crennel said. "I'm not going to go into the what-ifs, the whens, the where, the how long or anything like that. BEREA, Ohio (AP) -Derek Anderson will start at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns on Sunday against Cincinnati. Coach Eric Mangini has decided to go with Anderson, a Pro Bowler in 2007, over Brady Quinn, who opened the season as Cleveland'sd starter but was benched at halftime last Sunday in Baltimore. Mangini believes the Browns have a better chance to move the ball with Anderson. Mangini spent the entire training camp deciding on a quarterback before picking Quinn over Anderson.
