The song was nice, but a better gift would be for the Bills to reel off a couple of wins starting on Sunday, when they host a team struggling even more than them, the Cleveland Browns (0-4). Defensive tackle Marcus Stroud wouldn't want to consider the alternative of what might happen with another loss. ``If we keep like we're playing, we'll be fighting to save our own jobs,'' Stroud said. | Berea, OH (MySportsbook) - The Cleveland Browns have sent wide receiver Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets. In return, Cleveland will acquire wide receiver Chansi Stuckey, linebacker Jason Trusnik and undisclosed draft choices, believed to be a third and a fifth-round pick. Edwards, the third overall pick of the 2005 NFL Draft out of Michigan, had a career year in 2007, catching 80 passes for 1,289 yards and 16 touchdowns to lead the Browns to a division crown and playoff berth, while earning his only Pro |

During the 12 games Palmer missed with injury last season, there was no one to suggest to the head coach that the offense should take a gamble and go for it on a 4th-and-11 play from the Cleveland Browns 41-yard-line in the final minute of overtime. Do you think Lewis would have welcomed such a suggestion from Ryan Fitzpatrick? And do you think, had Lewis been fired after the team's dismal 4-11-1 season of 2008 as many Cincinnati fans had desired, t |

CLEVELAND (AP) -The NFL is investigating whether Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards violated the league's conduct policy following accusations he assaulted a man outside a nightclub. Edwards allegedly punched promoter Edward Givens, a friend of NBA superstar LeBron James, early Monday morning following an argument in downtown Cleveland. ``We are looking into it,'' league spokesman Greg Aiello said Tuesday in an e-mail. ``It is premature to speculate about potential discipline.'' For all his worldwide adulation, James has managed to keep a squeaky clean image. Without naming Edwards, he said he wished others would follow suit. ``I know how to handle myself as a professional athlete,'' James said. ``I take ca |

Lewis will miss his second straight game as he also sat out last week's loss to Baltimore. He sat out of practice all this week. Lewis had just 25 rushing attempts in the team's first two games -- both losses -- and has 95 yards and no touchdowns. In addition, kicker Phil Dawson and guard Floyd Womack will both miss another week. They are both inactive with |

Then, after taking care of business in San Diego (31-26) the following Sunday, the Ravens last week routed the Cleveland Browns (34-3), coached by ex- Patriots coordinator Eric Mangini. Needless to say, Belichick's team should present a far greater challenge than those put up by the venerable coach's underlings. New England overcame a hard-fought loss at the Jets in Week 2 b |

| Berea, OH (MySportsbook) - Cleveland Browns rookie running back James Davis will miss the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury. Davis, a sixth-round draft pick out of Clemson, was moved to injured reserve. The Browns used that open roster spot to sign running back Chris Jennings to the active roster from the practice squad.
