Houshmandzadeh was the prime free-agent receiver last spring, finally available for king's riches following seasons of 90, 112 and 92 receptions with the Cincinnati Bengals the previous three years - the most in the NFL in that span. He has 27 catches this season, 10th in the league, months after he signed a five-year contract that is believed to be worth $40 million with $15 million guaranteed. That's his fewest r |

| (MySportsbook) - Somebody should pinch Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, because he may not believe his team is 4-1 and alone atop the AFC North. Whatever Lewis' mindset may be, reality proves that the Bengals are indeed 4-1 thanks to a four-game winning streak following a season-opening loss versus the Denver Broncos. CINCINNATI (AP) -If Limas Sweed holds onto the ball in the end zone or Joe Flacco hits his wide-open receiver down the sideline, nobody is talking about the Cincinnati Bengals as a surprise team. They'd be back in the pack, trying to catch up to the big boys. Sweed dropped it. Flacco overthrew it. And everyone in the AFC North is chasing Cincinnati, a team that's sitting in first place because of a newfound knack for living on the edge. The Bengals (4-1) have been the NFL's ultimate high-wire act. Every on |
