Bengals place T Smith on IR NFL Football 11/13/2010
Cincinnati, OH (MySportsbook) - The Cincinnati Bengals placed tackle Andre Smith on injured reserve Saturday, officially ending his season. Smith had suffered a broken foot during practice on Wednesday. The Alabama product was the sixth-overall pick of Cincinnati in the 2009 draft. Defensive back Rico Murray was signed off the practice squad to take Smith's place on the roster. Also on Saturday, the Bengals pronounced cornerback Morgan Trent out for Sunday's game at Indianapolis with a tender knee.
