SAN DIEGO (AP) -Ernie Wright, an offensive lineman for the San Diego Chargers and Cincinnati Bengals who was a three-time AFL All-Star, died of cancer Tuesday night. He was 67. Wright was a rookie with the Los Angeles Chargers in 1960, the team's inaugural season. The Chargers moved to San Diego in 1961, and Wright remained with them through 1967. After playing four seasons with the Bengals, he finished his career with San Diego in 1972. Wright was chosen for the AFL All-Star team in 1961, 1963 and 1965.

Larson, a restricted free agent entering his fourth NFL season, ranked fifth in the league last year in net punting average with 38.6 yards per punt. His net average was the Bengals' best since 1995. Stepanovich was originally a fourth-round draft choice by Arizona in 2004 and played for the Cardinals for the past three seasons, starting all 30 of the games he played.
