Ritchie will visit Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday before undergoing the procedure to repair his rotator cuff. The 31-year-old Ritchie was 1-2 with a 5.08 ERA in five starts this season before going on the list. Ritchie struggled last season with the Chicago White Sox and posted a 5-15 record with a 6.06 ERA.
