And Tom Brady is on target again. But here come the Chicago Bears with a very good chance to spoil the show. ``It's been a pretty interesting couple of days watching these Bears,'' Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. ``It might actually be fun if we didn't have to play them.'' It wasn't necessary to mention the New England Patriots have won three of the past five Super Bowls, either. The Chicago Bears quarterback knows what he's up against, and he realizes he needs to get off to a better start than in last week's 10-0 victory over the New York Jets. ``It's not something complicated that I'm going to figure out,'' Grossman said on Wednesday. ``I |

Drafted by Washington in the fifth round in 2002, Lott played in 31 games and recorded 28 tackles, including one sack, in three seasons with the Redskins. LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -Chicago Bears defensive back Ricky Manning Jr. was suspended one game by the NFL on Wednesday for his role in an restaurant altercation and will not play this week at New England. Manning, the Bears' leader with four interceptions, pleaded no contest in September to a felony assault charge stemming from an altercation with a man in a Los Angeles restaurant. Manning acknowledged he argued with a man at a Denny's near UCLA, where he attended college, in the early hours of April 23. |

| g him the last few weeks, it might be time for first-year head coach Eric Mangini to make a quarterback change. I don't think Pennington gives the Jets the best chance to win right now. Pennington was certainly to blame in the Jets' 10-0 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, as he threw two costly interceptions, both of which came deep in Chicago territory, including a pick in the end zone early in the second quarter. "Physically, I feel good," Pennington said. "Mentally, this is something I haven't experienc |

| (MySportsbook) - Week 11, in a lot of ways, felt like last year all over again. Donovan McNabb was lost for the season, the Arizona Cardinals played the Detroit Lions and nobody cared, and the Chicago Bears went on the road and won a game with their defense. A week after hanging 38 points on the New York Giants in the Meadowlands, Chicago returned and posted just 10 against the Jets. However, that was nine more than they needed to win the game (eight if you want to get technical). Thanks to a stout run de |

The tradition began in 1934, when the Lions moved from Portsmouth, Ohio to Detroit during the Great Depression. That year, their Thanksgiving contest against the Chicago Bears (a 19-16 loss for the Lions) was the first NFL game to be broadcast nationally (NBC radio). Since that time, the Lions are 33-30-2 on Turkey Day. HARRINGTON RETURNS TO MOTOR CITY For the Lions, having former quarterback Joey Harrington come into tow |

It won't be easy to do it again Sunday even if he gets the chance because New England will be playing against the Chicago Bears, the team that has allowed the fewest yards and points in the NFL. Maroney's speed, shiftiness and power have resulted in an outstanding season. His 577 yards rushing are 12th most in the AFC and he already has 14 receptions after totaling just 21 |
