| This is low," said Gruden of his team's current fortunes. "This is also, to me, a tremendous challenge that I'm very excited about." Tampa Bay's next road test won't be any easier, as the team will have to visit frigid Soldier Field to face the 10-2 Chicago Bears on December 17. A FINE EFFORT The Bucs' offensive ineptitude wasted a very strong performance by the defense, which limited Pittsburgh to 267 total yards and 13 first downs. Seventeen of the Steelers' 20 points came after a Gradkowski interception. |

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -Let the fans boo and the critics ramble. Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith refused to budge Monday. He's sticking with Rex Grossman as his starting quarterback. A day after the Bears wrapped up their second straight NFC North championship, Grossman's lowly performance in a 23-13 win over the Vikings was still the main topic. A 1.3 quarterback rating and three more interceptions increased the clamoring for a change to veteran Brian Griese. Grossman's shaky outing took the edge off |

CHICAGO (AP) -Rex Grossman heard the boos through the cold air at Soldier Field. On a day the Chicago Bears captured a second straight division title and became the first team to clinch a playoff spot, their young quarterback struggled again. His QB rating was a microscopic 1.3. He completed only 6 of 19 passes for 34 yards and threw three more interceptions - giving him 17 for the season and 14 in the last seven games. Thanks to defense and special teams, the Bears still beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-1 |

CHICAGO (AP) -Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris left the game in the third quarter Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings with a leg injury. Harris, who made the Pro Bowl last season, was hurt on the second scrimmage play of the second half, a 6-yard run by the Vikings' Chester Taylor. After staying on the ground for several minutes, Harris was helped off the field. In his third season and a first-round pick in 2004, Harris has five sacks this season.
