| Lake Forest, IL (MySportsbook) - The Chicago Bears on Tuesday signed cornerback Roderick Hood to a one-year contract and waived wide receiver Derek Kinder. Terms of the deal for Hood were not disclosed. Hood entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Eagles in 2003. Over six seasons with Philadelphia (2003-06) and Arizona (2007-08), the Auburn produced registered 203 tackles and 11 interceptions. Chicago selected Kinder in the seventh round of the 2009 draft. |

| Denver, CO (MySportsbook) - Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton left Sunday's 27-17 preseason loss to the Chicago Bears after suffering a cut to his right index finger in the second quarter. On a pass play, Orton's right hand appeared to connect with Bears defensive end Adewale Ogunleye on the follow-through. He then saw his bloody finger, went over to the sideline and left the field.
