| (MySportsbook) - A couple of quarterbacks seeking redemption will be in the spotlight at Cowboys Stadium on Monday night, when Dallas and Tony Romo play host to Jake Delhomme's Carolina Panthers to put an exclamation point on the Week 3 schedule. Romo is coming off one of the weakest outings of his three-plus years as the Cowboys' starter, completing just 13-of-29 passes for 127 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions thrown in Dallas' 33-31 loss to the New York Giants last Sunday night. PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Donovan McNabb is still not able to practice and it appears unlikely he will play this week. McNabb, who suffered a broken rib in a season-opening win over the Carolina Panthers, is expected to miss his second straight game as the Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) meet the Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) at Lincoln Financial Field. With the Eagles on a bye next week, resting McNabb gives him more time to heal before the Eagles host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Oct. 11. McNabb was at Thursday's practice |

Just one week after forcing the wayward Carolina Panthers into a flurry of mistakes on the way to a resounding 38-10 road victory, the Eagles were undone by their own errors in a forgettable 48-22 defeat to the high- powered Saints. A four-point halftime deficit quickly became a 31-14 hole because of a pai |

| (MySportsbook) - It's no secret that one of the best ways to hold your opponent out of the end zone is to keep its offense on the sidelines. Case in point came during the third quarter of the Atlanta Falcons' 28-20 victory over the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday. Atlanta came out of the break up 21-13 and began the third quarter with a 13- play drive that went 70 yards and ate up nearly seven minutes of clock time. Though the march ended with a Michael Turner fumble, the Panthers' ensuing drive lasted jus |

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) -The Atlanta Falcons say rookie defensive tackle Peria Jerry is out for the season after injuring his right knee in a victory over the Carolina Panthers. Jerry, the team's first-round pick out of Mississippi, went down in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 28-20 victory. Coach Mike Smith said the rookie will be placed on injured reserve. The Falcons are thin along the defensive line, so the loss of Jerry is especially damaging. Thomas Johnson will likely take over Jerry's spot in the |

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -The Carolina Panthers have lost another defensive tackle. Louis Leonard broke his left ankle on the final defensive play of Sunday's loss at Atlanta. Coach John Fox on Monday wouldn't say for sure that Leonard will be placed on injured reserve, but the Panthers will almost certainly have to sign another defensive tackle. Leonard was acquired from Cleveland last month to help make up for the loss of starter Maake Kemoeatu, who was lost to a season-ending ruptured Achilles' tendon on t |
