| Charlotte, NC (MySportsbook) - Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme signed a five-year contract extension on Thursday, one which is expected to keep the veteran in the fold until 2014. The Charlotte Observer reported the deal is worth $42.5 million with $20 million guaranteed. | Charlotte, NC (MySportsbook) - The Carolina Panthers re-signed restricted free agent safety Nate Salley and linebacker James Anderson on Monday. Anderson appeared in eight games last season, his third in the league. He totaled three tackles in those games. Salley appeared in all 16 games last season, mostly as a special teams contributor. Omiyale, 26, played 10 games, starting one, for the Carolina Panthers in 2008. He was a fifth-round pick by the Falcons in 2005, spending his first two seasons in Atlanta.
