| (MySportsbook) - There weren't many teams that made larger headlines this offseason than the Philadelphia Eagles. The Carolina Panthers, meanwhile, are ready to remind people just who the defending NFC South champions are. The Eagles get set to unveil a host of new weapons against a Panthers' club that won all eight of its regular-season home games a season ago when the two franchises clash Sunday at Bank of America Stadium. Philadelphia (9-6-1) didn't let a run to the NFC Championship game make it complacent |

Daniel, the former Missouri standout and an undrafted rookie free agent signed by the team during the spring, raised eyebrows with a strong preseason showing. He will assume responsibilities, which include heading the team's business operations and Bank of America Stadium business interests, in about a month. | (MySportsbook) - If any team needs a repeat of 2008, it is the Carolina Panthers. Fresh off a 12-4 campaign that saw them win the NFC South, the Panthers return 21 of their 22 starters from last year minus cornerback Ken Lucas, who was cut for salary cap reasons. And those 21 players better be as good as last season, because Carolina didn't have much cap room to add depth or upgrade at any position. Instead, the Panthers will hope that last year's core can rebound from the 33-13 defeat it suffered versus Ariz |
