Buffalo is 0-4-2 during the skid, and has won only once since beginning the season with convincing victories over the Islanders and Canadiens. | (MySportsbook) - The Calgary Flames entered Thursday's contest at the Saddledome with the Buffalo Sabres winless in their first five games at home, despite holding a lead in four of those matchups. Well thanks to a fine effort by goaltender Roman Turek, and a couple of lucky bounces, the Flames removed the donut from their home record and reached the .500 mark overall (3-3-2-2). "That's the Roman Turek that we know," Flames coach Greg Gilbert said after the game. "He was outstanding tonight." Turek was sen |

| (MySportsbook) - Well, we now have enough evidence to state that the first two games of the Buffalo Sabres' season were aberrations. If you recall, Lindy Ruff's squad stampeded out of the gate with back-to-back victories over the Islanders and Canadiens, and won the matches by a combined score of 11-2. Well, since October 12, when the Sabres pasted the Habs 6-1 in Montreal, Buffalo is 1-4-2 and has tallied just 12 times in seven games. In their past three outings, Ruff's troops have managed only five goals |
