| y and Curly Lambeau, all Hall of Famers who each won multiple Super Bowls or NFL titles. Schottenheimer has indeed made it to the Super Bowl, but only after buying a ticket. The former linebacker remembers going to the first Super Bowl - after his Buffalo Bills were routed by Kansas City in the AFL championship - as well as the second, third and others. His protege, Bill Cowher, won a long-sought ring with the Pittsburgh Steelers last year. Could it finally be Marty's turn? The Chargers are widely co |

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -The Buffalo Bills signed wide receiver Troy Bergeron to the practice squad Tuesday. Bergeron is a former Arena Football League standout who has yet to play for an NFL team. He was signed by Atlanta in May, but cut by the Falcons before the season. Bergeron made his mark playing for the AFL's Georgia Force last year, when he had a league-record 1,372 yards receiving and 31 touchdowns. He didn't play in college, red-shirting his only season with Middle Tennessee State in 2002.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Buffalo Bills starting strong safety Donte Whitner missed his second day of practice Friday because of a hamstring injury and remains questionable against the New York Jets. Whitner, the eighth overall pick in the April draft, hurt his hamstring at practice Thursday and was limping along the sidelines during Friday's workout. Whitner described the injury on Thursday as ``a tweak.'' Running back Willis McGahee and cornerback Terrence McGee both returned to practice Friday aft |

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Willis McGahee leaned into the microphone for effect, knowing each playful jab would eventually get back to Jonathan Vilma. ``Jon, you can't stop me, bro,'' the Buffalo Bills running back said. ``Just case closed, that's it.'' And with that, the friendly rivalry between the former college teammates was back on. The two will meet again Sunday when the Jets (7-5) host the Bills (5-7) at the Meadowlands. ``Tell Willis that's cute,'' the New York linebacker said with a big gr |

Polian knows it well - he was then the general manager of the Buffalo Bills, who lost the title to New York when Scott Norwood's field goal sailed wide right at the end. That wasn't necessarily luck - Norwood was kicking from 47 yards, about 5 yards outside his range. But Parcells had an injury-dictated quarterback chan |

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Strong safety Donte Whitner hurt his hamstring in practice Thursday, leaving the Buffalo Bills potentially minus another defensive starter when they play the New York Jets this weekend. Coach Dick Jauron listed Whitner as questionable after the first-round draft pick was hurt early in practice. ``It's worrisome, but it's just part of the deal,'' Jauron said. ``And if he's not up, then somebody else will come up and play.'' Whitner described the injury as ``a tweak.'' He adde |

He did not practice on Wednesday, and wore an immobilizing boot to help the healing process. In ten games this season, McGahee has rushed for a 668 yards and four touchdowns on 182 attempts, all team-highs, while also catching 16 ba |
