| Boston, MA (MySportsbook) - Japanese pitcher Junichi Tazawa has signed a three-year contract with the Boston Red Sox on Thursday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Boston Globe said the contract is around $3 million. The newspaper also stated that Tazawa rejected offers from three other major league teams, including the Texas Rangers, who offered him more money.
