McNair's death ruled a homicide NFL Football 07/05/2009
Nashville, TN (MySportsbook) - The shooting death of former Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Steve McNair has been ruled a homicide. McNair and a female friend were found shot to death Saturday at a Nashville condominium. Nashville police department public affairs manager Don Aaron spoke at a news briefing Sunday and classified McNair's death, but would not do the same for the other victim, 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi. Aaron said McNair had multiple gunshot wounds, including two in the head and

Still, the feats pulled off last season by the likes of the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, and Miami Dolphins may have effectively ended what little acceptance of a "rebuilding period" NFL fans had left. All three went from double-digit loss seasons to the playoffs, and all three did so with first-time NFL head coaches. If that wasn't st

Ravens ink WR Washington to one-year deal NFL Football 05/18/2009
Owings Mills, MD (MySportsbook) - The Baltimore Ravens added depth to their receiving corps Monday, signing veteran Kelley Washington to a one-year contract. Washington has six years' experience in the NFL, playing the last two with New England, though mostly on special teams. He began his career with Cincinnati, which selected him in the third round of the 2003 draft. In 68 career games with the Patriots and Bengals, Washington has recorded 73 catches for 896 yards and nine touchdowns.

The 36-year-old veteran spent last season as the third quarterback with the Baltimore Ravens and did not see any game action. Bouman has appeared in a total of 42 NFL games, many as a backup quarterback and holder for kicks. He has just six starts as a quarterback -- three with Minnesota in 2001 and three with New Orleans in 2005. The St. C
