| Baltimore, MD (MySportsbook) - Baltimore Orioles first baseman/designated hitter David Segui was placed on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with a strained right hamstring. The 36-year-old Segui has played in 10 games this year and is batting .441 with five RBI. Segui is playing in his 14th season in the majors. He is a lifetime .293 hitter and has compiled 133 homers and 657 RBI over his career. The Orioles recalled outfielder Larry Bigbie from Triple-A Ottawa to Segui's spot on the roster. |
