Newberry had signed as a free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in June but suffered a knee injury preparing for the season. | Giants weakside linebacker Michael Boley on Wednesday underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn labrum in his hip. The procedure was performed by team physician Dr. Bryan Kelly at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and a full recovery is expected in 8-10 weeks. The 6-foot-3, 236-pound Boley, who signed with the G-Men as a free agent on February 28 after four years with the Atlanta Falcons, has recorded six sacks, six forced fumbles, five interceptions and four fumble recoveries in 64 games -- 52 starts. |
