| Kirkland, WA (MySportsbook) - Seahawks head coach Jim Mora stated in his press conference Monday that linebacker Lofa Tatupu may not be lost for the season one day after thinking otherwise. Tatupu was injured in Sunday's 27-3 setback to the Arizona Cardinals and it was first believed that he completely tore his left pectoral muscle. However, Mora indicated it may only be a partial tear and further tests will be done to determine how long the three-time Pro Bowl selection will be sidelined. "After further revi |

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -The Arizona Cardinals have added Ben Patrick to their active roster after the conclusion of the tight end's four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Patrick, who caught a pass for Arizona in last season's Super Bowl, had practiced all week but was not added to the 53-man roster until Saturday. Arizona created a vacancy on the active roster on Tuesday when it released defensive end Keilen Dykes and re-signed him to the practice squad.Copyright © 2005 T |

| (MySportsbook) - The only two teams to win the NFC West over the past five seasons will convene at Qwest Field on Sunday, when the Seattle Seahawks play host to the Arizona Cardinals. That said, no matter who wins the head-to-head battle will not find themselves in control of the division. Everyone else in the West is chasing the first-place San Francisco 49ers (3-2) at the moment, as Mike Singletary's surprising team has defeated all three of its NFC West foes to ascend the divisional ladder after several ye |

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -The Arizona Cardinals defense has a split personality - terrific against the run, terrible against the pass. Five weeks into the season, Arizona leads the NFL in run defense, ahead of traditional powers Baltimore, Tennessee and Pittsburgh. Against the pass, though, the Cardinals are at the very bottom, 32nd out of 32 teams. The Cardinals have allowed 71 yards per game on the ground, and a whopping 303 per game through the air. As often happens with statistics, especially this early in |

Yes, the team the Arizona Cardinals will find opposite them on Sunday is a different division rival than it has been recently, and not just because the Seahawks will again be without a half dozen or more injured starters. After making its first-ever visit to Houston's Reliant Stadium on October 25, San Francisco takes on Peyton Manning and the unbeaten Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium the following weekend. ARIZONA: The Arizona Cardinals were able to close within a half-game of the 49ers' lead atop the AFC West by holding on for a victory that came by literally the slimmest of margins.
