Warner, defense help Cardinals edge Giants NFL Football 10/26/2009
East Rutherford, NJ (MySportsbook) - Antrel Rolle intercepted an Eli Manning pass late in the fourth quarter, one of three Manning picks, and Kurt Warner threw for 231 yards and a touchdown as the Arizona Cardinals edged the New York Giants, 24-17, in Week 7 action at Giants Stadium. Warner, who beat his former team for the first time since being released following the 2004 season, finished 20-of-36 and also threw an interception for the Cardinals (4-2), who won their third straight after a 1-2 start to the s

Giants try to slow aerial assault of Cardinals NFL Football 10/24/2009
(MySportsbook) - A prolific passing attack knocked the New York Giants from the ranks of the unbeaten a week ago. The Arizona Cardinals are hoping a similar approach breeds the same results this Sunday, when the defending NFC champions head to the Meadowlands for a primetime showdown between division leaders. After opening the 2009 season with five consecutive victories, the last three of which came by 11 points or more, the Giants were handed a stern reality check by Drew Brees and a juggernaut New Orleans s

McKenzie has been limited in practice all week for the 5-1 Giants. Running back Ahmad Bradshaw (back), quarterback Eli Manning (foot), wide receiver Mario Manningham, linebacker Antonio Pierce (back), and guard Rich Seubert (shoulder) are all listed as probable. Linebacker Michael Boley (knee), defensive tackle Chris Canty (calf), and co
Boldin practices, questionable for Giants game Headlines 10/23/2009

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin is questionable for Sunday night's game at the New York Giants after going through a limited practice on Friday.

It was the first time all week that Boldin had participated in practice after spraining his right ankle in last Sunday's 27-3 victory in Seattle, although he had done some rehabilitation work on the side.

Tight end Stephen Spach did not practice because of a sprained ankle and was ruled out for Sunday night's game.

NFC East: A change coming in Washington, more to follow? NFL Football 10/20/2009
ing yards along with a touchdown...Right offensive tackle Kareem McKenzie left Sunday's loss in the second quarter with a strained groin. NEXT UP: The Giants return home this coming Sunday for a primetime clash with the defending conference champion Arizona Cardinals, who have won two straight games and currently hold a share of the NFC West lead with a 3-2 record after this past weekend's convincing 27-3 victory at Seattle. These teams engaged in a tightly-contested affair in Phoenix last November, with New Yor
NFC West: Maligned Cardinals defense rises up NFL Football 10/20/2009
(MySportsbook) - The Arizona Cardinals have been one tough team to figure out during the early stages of this 2009 season, and this past Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks enhanced that enigmatic reputation. Arizona's 27-3 victory over Seattle at the often-intimidating Qwest Field may not qualify as an unforeseen upset, but the one-sided way in which the reigning NFC champions took apart a division rival in its own venue certainly raised eyebrows. The Cardinals roared out to a 17-0 lead before the sta
Seahawks hoping Tatupu not lost for season NFL Football 10/19/2009
Kirkland, WA (MySportsbook) - Seahawks head coach Jim Mora stated in his press conference Monday that linebacker Lofa Tatupu may not be lost for the season one day after thinking otherwise. Tatupu was injured in Sunday's 27-3 setback to the Arizona Cardinals and it was first believed that he completely tore his left pectoral muscle. However, Mora indicated it may only be a partial tear and further tests will be done to determine how long the three-time Pro Bowl selection will be sidelined. "After further revi
