The Raiders started off the season with five straight losses, and many folks believed Art Shell's club had a chance to be the first team to go winless in a year since the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers went 0-14. The Raiders wasted no time in the victory, scoring the first 17 points of this 22-9 triumph. A key component in Oakland's first win since November 20, 2005 at Washington was the |

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -Three years into Dennis Green's tenure as coach of the Arizona Cardinals, the team is off to its worst start in nine seasons. That's saying something for a franchise with one winning season since 1984. Sunday's loss to the previously winless Oakland Raiders was the Cardinals' sixth straight since a season-opening victory over San Francisco. With a 12-27 record at Arizona, a subdued Green said on Monday that his focus is simply on preparing the team for its next game - Sunday at Green |
